Pitch
On me réclame un pitch pour mon roman. Après avoir fait une recherche bien consciencieuse, j'apprends qu'un "pitch" est une "phrase accrocheuse pour donner envie d'aller voir un film". Franchement, j'ai réfléchi à la question et je trouve que le titre "Crevez tous, useless cunts" est assez accrocheur (ou répulsif, comme vous voudrez!) comme ça... Voilà un petit résumé et un extrait: « Crevez tous, useless cunts » est un roman d’amour. Axel fait irruption à Sciences-Po, sort son Tec 9 semi automatique, torture le directeur avant de tuer Cécile et de se suicider. Ce qui a poussé un étudiant de bonne famille à commettre un tel acte, voilà tout l’enjeu du roman. En arrière fond se dessine une société française usée, décrépite, ne croyant plus à un quelconque modèle. Extrait : « Trois semaines après la mort de sa mère, il eut envie d’écouter « Rape me » en balançant lourdement sa tête contre les murs. Il comprit alors qu’il ne mènerait pas son deuil de façon rationnelle. Et il connut le calvaire de Luke Woodham. En pleine nuit, il fouilla donc dans une boîte de vieilleries qu’il avait rapportée de chez ses parents et en sortit In Utero. Pourtant, il détestait Nirvana ; c’était son père qui lui avait acheté le CD pour ses 14 ans, conseillé par un vendeur du rayon « adolescents à problèmes » de la FNAC. Tout le monde écoutait ça au collège. Axel aurait aimé, lui aussi, être un fan de Nirvana. Ça suggérait une personnalité de rebelle, et les rebelles sortaient généralement avec les filles populaires. En plus, les rebelles n’avaient pas besoin d’être beaux, ils suffisaient qu’ils aient la haine. Tout cela lui faisait un peu peur : il préférait lire « Au bonheur des dames » de Zola. » « Crevez tous, useless cunts » aurait pu s’appeler « Semper fidelis », tant Axel reste fidèle à son adolescence, contre tout bon sens. Alors que tous autour de lui évoluent, deviennent plus indépendants, moins sensibles, Axel continue à pleurer sa relation avec Cécile. Cette fidélité à lui-même et aux autres, il la paie au prix fort. Jusqu’au bout.

Si un jour un éditeur me parlait de « pitch », j’espère avoir la lucidité de l’étrangler. Avec sauvagerie et volupté, ce serait souhaitable. Vingt ans de taule par un jury d’assises pour cette œuvre passionnée, ça vaudrait tous les prix littéraires.
Un écrivain contemporain, non content d’être prof, banquier ou journaliste, ça n’a plus de casier judiciaire. On ne pourra pas dire qu’ils auront démérité de mon dégoût.

Je ne suis pas suicidaire (loin de là) , mais j'avoue m'identifier déjà au personnage avec sa personnalité caricaturale de rebelle en plus , c'est tout à fait moi. En plus je suis un grand fan de Nirvana. Mon père ne m'aurait jamais acheté ça !!, je l'ai acheté tout seul en Pologne cet In Utero pirate à l'époque. On sent les influences de Houellebecq , BREat Eston Ellis en tout cas et peut-être un peu Gus Van Sant " Elephant" , non ?
